Bega Police and the Bega Valley Shire Liquor Accord requested council create the zone after a meeting in May last year raised concerns over alcohol related anti-social behaviour, damage to property and assaults in public places.
The proposed zone will include sections of Carp St, Gipps St and Auckland St.
