Space withers without wisteria shade
It would be wonderful if council replaces a weedy exotic (yes, regardless of its beauty, wisteria is a weed) with an appropriate local species. Not only would it provide shade for the humans, it would also provide shelter for animals and birds.

The wisteria is shady yes. It is also a very high maintenance, weedy and voracious climber. An ongoing liability and not suited to our climate. Beautiful for five minutes and a completely horrible maintenance burden all of the time.

So true I was melting like a paddle pop. If it’s diseased, completely remove it. Can’t council plant some established vines or climbing roses would be beautiful. There is no shade at all in Carp St.

I’m glad it got removed cause the smokers moved too. Every time we would have to walk past blocking our noses because people sit there smoking and it stunk!

When you openly say you're all about family values and want to uphold the sanctity of marriage and not allow gays to marry, then it is revealed you're cheating on your family and have the new chippy who is being paid by taxpayers pregnant, you can't expect the tax paying public to let you keep your job.
