As part of the Lunar Year of the Dog and closely tied in with the current exhibition at Spiral Gallery, several local artists were busy in Littleton Garden painting portraits of lovable pooches.
Getting the animals to sit still enough to have their portrait painted took “treats and squeaky toys” said Kerri Brady, president of the Animal Welfare League NSW Far South Coast branch.
Her own dog Norbert was very well behaved for sketch artist Warran Addicott, who said he had already completed three others that morning.
The portrait sessions will return on Friday, March 2, from 8am until 1pm. Make an appointment at Spiral Gallery on 6492 5322, or try your luck on the day.
