The Bega Showground callers box has received a makeover ahead of the start of this year’s Bega Show on Friday.

The box now sports a Vegemite logo, following sponsor Bega Cheese’s acquisition of the brand in 2017.

Bega Cheese director Max Roberts said the Far South Coast National Show is the heart of the Bega Valley, and the company is proud to be part of the annual event.

“If you ever wanted to highlight Bega and Vegemite it’s here, this is where the home of Bega is,” he said.

“Even with all our [manufacturing] sites we recognise Bega is the home of Bega Cheese.

“It’s not just about the gooey black stuff in the jar, it’s about the community and the very skilled workforce that sends products from here, all over the world.”
