The raffle is one of three major fundraisers by the Friends of the Old Bega Hospital, the others being a trivia night in mid-winter and the Raise the Roof Spring Fair in October. All proceeds go toward the restoration of the historic building damaged by fire in 2004.
The Old Bega Hospital Trust is in its final discussions with Melbourne architects, Siblings, on the plans for the restored building to be a vibrant community cultural and tourist centre.
