First days at school
Apparently when I was 5 or 6 at St Pats I painted a picture and the the teacher said I should take that home to show mum. As a good Catholic boy I did as I was told. I believe there was a search started, I was at home waiting for mum. I now realise the teacher meant to show mum after school.

School bans mobile phones
Maybe without their phones children would learn how to read, write and spell correctly at school. Phones are definitely not helping in that area alone. A ban during school hours can only be beneficial.
Sherry Lucas
Yes! Let's encourage our kids to plug into real conversations, face to face interactions, let's encourage pondering, debate, contemplation rather than hyperactive onscreen absorption. Engaging in real community builds a healthier society.
Motria von Schreiber
In class, phones should 100% stay in their bags. Recess, lunch, free time etc, they should be free to use them. Be realistic for Pete’s sake. This is not the Stone Age.
Shannon Davis-Thompson
I agree! It's disgusting seeing the amount of people with their faces in their phones, instead of connecting verbally with the real people around them. Too many slaves to technology (and no, I'm not with anyone as I type this)!
Jeanette Atkins
Yes definitely! Especially because there is a lot of cyber bullying at school nowadays. There is no need for a phone at school.
Tiona Leigh
Yes, I think they should be banned at school. God forbid, the kids might actually learn to communicate and actually participate in some physical activity.
Pauline Daley
How is this not a thing in every school! We couldn't even chew gum.

Kingfish changes
My understanding is that the bigger fish are the breeding stock so if you take the breeding stock you soon won’t have a choice of what you take.
