Bermagui Ladies
On Monday the NSW Champion of Champions was held at the Manly Golf Club. Bermagui's Maggie Hayes played in this 36-hole event and was the winner of the nett 36 holes and had the best nett score for the afternoon 18 holes too. She had an 81 nett and a 77 nett. Well done Maggie. There were 32 of the best lady golfers in NSW playing.

On Saturday the ladies played and Denise Flavell had the best score with 38 pts. Runner-up was Lynn Ponsford with 35 pts. Balls went to Jo Buttrey 34 pts, Brenda Whiffen 33 pts, Maggie Hayes 32 pts and Pat Jones 31 pts.
Wednesday we had 2 divisions for the stableford round. NTP 6th Val Schilling 11th Sandy Chamberlin.
Div. 1. Winner Maggie Hayes 37 pts. Runner-up Michele Medelis 32 pts. Balls to Cherie Rudneski 32 pts, Fran Vercoe 30 pts, Marion Calder 30 pts and Pat Jones 30 pts.
Div. 2. Winner Anna Blacka 38 pts. Runner-up Irene Putaansuu 30 pts. Balls Bev Tyson 29 pts, Trady Howarth 29 pts, Vicki Hummel 29 pts, and Norma Heddles 29 pts.

Results for Thursday, February 1, Stableford
A countback decided the top spot in A grade with Ross Allan (hcp 7) shading Bob Paine (hcp 9) both on 40 points. Third place went to Graeme Gunn (hcp 15) on 38.
B grade had patisserie supremo Luke Moresi (hcp 18) knocking on the door of A grade with a best score of the day win with 45 points. Second place in B to village storeman Dave Cole (hcp 20) after countback with Paul Rumble (hcp 18) third both on 39.
The C grade champion Arthur Worthley (hcp 23) stamped his authority with a 39 point win. Then followed Bill Beaumont (hcp 34) after countback to Jochen Adam (hcp 24) both on 38.
Results for Saturday, February 3, Monthly Medal stroke event sponsored by Paul Davison.
In a close finish we finally congratulated Luke Kingston on his February Medal win. Luke achieved this excellent result playing off 28 handicap with a net score of 71.
The A grade win went to Bob Paine returning with 71 net off 10 handicap. A grade runner-up went to Derek Quinto (hcp 15) after countback with Noel Flavell (hcp 15) both scoring 74.
Our captain Ray Stephens prevailed to win B grade with net 74 off 20 handicap. Following another countback Rob Cattanach (hcp 19) snared second place over Shane Buckley (hcp 16) both with 75.
C grade saw Dennis Olmstead take the win with 71 off his 24 handicap. Second place to Tony Stenhouse (hcp 22) on 73 and third to Jochen Adam (hcp 25) on 75.
Lowest off the stick today was Nathan Batten with 75.
Club News:
Our Pennants Teams played their first round on Sunday 4th at Mollymook Golf Course. Bermagui Division 1 team defeated Narooma 4.5 and 0.5, Bermagui Division 2 lost to Catalina (3.5 and 1.5) and Bermagui Seniors lost to Narooma (3.5 and 1.5). The Pennant round continues at Narooma Golf Course next Sunday.
