The January 6 meeting is the first of three events in the lead up to the Sapphire Speedway holding the SSA Modified titles on March 10.
Other meetings will be held on January 27 and March 3.
The Sapphire Speedway has been operating for 40 years and is one of only a handful of regional speedway facilities still in operation.
The track has been kept open over the decades by a committed team of revved-up volunteers.
