On Saturday, December 23, it was more about donning a wetsuit and rashie, strapping on a stand up paddleboard and getting out on the water.
For the second year running, a Santas on SUPs session was held at Tathra Beach early Saturday morning, with around 15 board riders – and one kayaker – enjoying the chance to catch a few waves while wearing silly hats.
Stand-up paddleboards were also on offer from Coastlife Adventures for anyone wishing to join in – though a Santa hat was essential!
The water was a little choppy, but a beautiful 21C with everyone on the beach enjoying the start of a Christmas long weekend.
