The show features Jeff and Lyn Brown, Keith and Caitlyn Jamieson and Alisha Smith in a night full of country music not to be missed.
Since his early childhood, Jeff Brown has had a love for Australian bush ballad music, having grown up in a household where some of the great old pioneers of Australian and American country was the only music played.
Jeff has now released his fifth album Hard To Let Go. The album has been a great success with Jeff winning a Golden Guitar at the 42nd CMAA Country Music Awards for Bush Ballad of the Year, with the song I Love Australia written by Keith Jamieson.
Jeff also won Male Vocalist of the Year and Album of the Year at the 2014 Stan Coster Memorial Australian Bush Ballad Awards.
Keith is an award winning bush balladeer and prolific songwriter, having had his songs recorded by many artists including the late Slim Dusty. In 2005 he was inducted into the Tamworth Hands of Fame.
Alisha learnt rhythm guitar and bass several years ago with help from Keith. She has since developed her own style, but is keeping alive the bush ballad sound.
Caitlyn is Keith and Alisha’s daughter and she won new talent at Bungendore and the Barry Thornton encouragement award at age 10 in February 2016.
The Travelling Country Show is playing at the Wolumla Hall on December 30 from 7pm. Tickets $20 at the door with supper provided and a lucky door prize on offer.
