Blessing of the Animals
Sunday, November 12, was the annual Blessing of the Animals for the Anglican Parish of Cobargo. This year the service was held in the grounds of All Saints' at Bermagui. Reverend Mandy Wheatley spoke about the special place our pets, working animals and native species have in our lives, and the important role we humans have in the care of all animals. The beautiful sunny weather at the 106-year-old church was enjoyed by all, including the many dogs, one cat and Joe the sulphur-crested cockatoo.
