The Country Women’s Association’s (CWA) Bega branch is holding a Bake Off on Saturday, November 25.

The bake off is open to cooks of any age, gender, or ability.
The day begins at 9.30am, and will be held at the CWA Hall at 31 Church Street, Bega.
The 2017-18 contest gives you a choice of eleven sections with prizes and awards worth more than $3500.
The sections include fruit cakes, butter cakes, rhubarb cake, monte carlos, coffee cake, cake decorations and sugar art, steamed fruit pudding, jam, pickles and relish, gluten free lamington fingers, and a chocolate sponge.
There are also two special sections for young cooks. Under 18s will have the opportunity to cook chocolate hazelnut friands, while under 12s can choose a giant Anzac biscuit.
All entries to the competition must be submitted to Nelleke Gorton.
