Officials said the layout was well-designed with eight stands offering varied targets for the 37 shooters battling it out for the top points.
Organisers said the rabbit kept shooters on their toes as the clays were sent running and jumping down a path that proved a tease for all.
There were also some fun overhead and incoming targets that stretched the limits if you didn’t get them early. Bruce Arthurson shot for the money and unfortunately missed out like many people before him, but nonetheless he was still a winner, taking home a generously donated meat tray from Benny’s Butchery.
C grade were the standout scorers with Michael Platts reaching 123 and Richard Watkins with 119 points.
AA grade went to Philip Craig edge Craig Field 99 to 98, while Nev Brady was clear winner in A grade.
Mick Durnan headed B grade on 110.
The next shoot is November 26 at 10am with a 65-target Christmas novelty shoot.
