The Development Series will take to the Nowra track on November 18 as an interim class between junior grades and the Super Sedans.
It’s the brainchild of Andrew White of Kings Smash Repairs, who also helps coordinate the state Super Sedan series.
“We’re trying to give an opportunity for younger drivers and lower budget cars in support of what we do in super sedans,” White said this week.
“Super Sedans are awesome fun, but for some juniors jumping straight into the main game it can be mind-boggling. This is more of a gradual step.”
White said the development series would also hopefully encourage more young people to continue with the sport.
