Kyle Bourke claimed line honours in both the 10km and 5km distance events, while some gifted young guns headed up the pack in the 2.5km kids’ dash on the day.
The Sapphire Coast Anglican College also scored a voucher as the winner of the school team entries.
Officials said conditions were idyllic for the run on the day with a cool fog settling over the course to keep runners cool before sunshine quickly provided sweltering heat.
Officials are now planning for next year’s run.
