The camp, designed for juniors between the ages of 13 and 18, will be held at the Tathra Beach Country Club grounds from Saturday, October 28 to Sunday, October 29.
The overnight component is aimed at kids between 15 and 18, while there will be a separate clinic on Sunday for kids aged 13 and 14.
One of the organisers of the camp, Nathan Smith, said the format had changed this year.
“We decided to do something different this year with just holding the double header,” he said.
“In previous years we’ve run multiple camps up the coast, but we’ve decided to just run one in Tathra.”
Smith said despite the change in format, the purpose behind the camp hasn’t changed.
“We started the camp to introduce teenagers into football,” he said.
“Where a lot of their club coaches don’t have time to work on specifics in training, we can go into that on the weekend.”
Mr Smith said the camp was drawing juniors from all around the South Coast.
“There’s about 70 odd kids in the older age group, and then another 30 in the younger age group,” he said.
“They’re coming from everywhere from Batemans Bay through to Eden and Cooma.”
