According to kiwi.com, there is only one non-stop flight between Tel Aviv and Cairo, operated by Cairo-based Air Sinai. However, this is not a daily flight and, while the flight time is just 85 minutes, kiwi.com prices it about $500. The only land border crossing between Israel and Egypt is Taba, close to Israel's Eilat. But it's a long bus ride from there to Suez, the nearest Egyptian city, and while St Catherine's Monastery is a possible visit on the way, this journey is inadvisable due to terrorist activity in the area. The other alternative is a one-stop flight from Tel Aviv to Cairo. One of the best options is a 6??-hour Air Aegean flight via Athens for about $270, arriving in Cairo just after midnight.
