Games on October 12 saw the following results:
McDonald’s (Corey Leahy) defeated Horizon Credit Union (Stephanie Symonds) 30 games to 25.
During the night there were three tie-breaker games with two going to Leahy.
In the match between Sarah and Steph against Beth and Corey, Symonds proved too strong for Corey, winning comfortably six games to one.
In other games, Bega Newsagency (Luke Keft) came up against Caddy Searl Jarmon (Charlie Johnston) .
Keft took the victory 34 games to 18.
Five of those sets were easily won by Keft, but when they came up against the combination of Charlie and his mum Allyson, these two proved too strong!
The family pairing won six games to four.
Meanwhile, the Grand Hotel (Todd Whyman) went down narrowly to Barbeques Galore (Tony Boyle) 25 games to 29.
There was some very strong competition between both sides.
Boyle was on a winning streak from previous weeks.
On the night both sides won three sets apiece, with two tie-breakers going Whyman’s way.
However, the end result saw Boyle as the winner.
The draw for next week, Thursday, October 19: Leahy v Whyman, Keft v Symonds, and Boyle v Johnston.
