Sapphire Coast Anglican College farewells Year 12 Class of 2017 | Photos

Thursday marked a very special day in the lives of the Year 12 students from Sapphire Coast Anglican College.

The class of 2017 enjoyed their traditional breakfast at St John’s Church Bega hosted by the Anglican ladies before heading back to the college for a house celebration and farewell.

At 10am the college held its graduation assembly and presentation followed by cake and coffee.

Then a new tradition was started, with each Year 12 graduate planting a tree on the side of the college oval, complete with their own name tag.

Students awarded on the day included Maharla Clark, who received the TAFE award of Excellence in Workplace Training, and Roslyn Love-Myers, who was awarded the coveted Ron Stanley RSL Award presented by Bega RSL sub-branch president Gary Berman.
