From “muck up days” to celebratory breakfasts and award presentations, schools have wished them all luck with exams.
"Try and keep on top, and have a bit of fun, but not too much".
- Year 12 student Nicholas Hoskins
Six Bega High School Year 12 students took part in the AIME Mentoring program graduation at the University of Wollongong on Friday.
Nicholas Hoskins said while the feeling of finishing school “doesn’t feel real”, the program has been a “major” influence on his schooling over the last few years.
“The program has helped me get assessments done and keep up with my work,” he said ahead of his exams.
“The tutors have helped me keep on track.”
Nicholas is also completing a traineeship at Bermagui Public School, and hopes to become a sauce chef or saucier.
He has advice for students entering Year 12 this year.
“Try and keep on top, and have a bit of fun, but not too much,” he said.
