Bega Park busting for a public toilet
A toilet might mean residents and park users might stay longer to enjoy the outdoors and that's definitely not what BVSC want to see, as liability from injury caused by falling tree limbs might grow to enormous levels. Ban the parks and make our bureaucrats safe from more paperwork.

It's a great park with shade, a toilet would make it ideal. There isn't even another park in Bega with shade.
Zoe Whymark
It should never have been built there....It should have been rebuilt in Littleton Gardens.
Wendy Howarth
I think all the parks in the valley need a lot of TLC and local councils need to pick up their act! But personally, Bega has got the worst around, they are in bad locations, damage that never gets fixed, syringes on the ground, no shade, and no toilets anywhere near by.

Same-sex marriage letters
Denying the rights of millions because a few people did something they didn't like sounds petty to me. Would you deny all straight people marriage because of the thousands of years of bullying towards gay people?
Grace Keira Seaborn-Schmidt
It would have been great if the government was smart enough to put five or more important issues we could vote on the marriage law survey. There seems to be plenty of room on the page. It would have justified the cost.
Tommy Palinkas
What if the NO voters were denied their right to marry their chosen ones when they did...how would they feel?
Suzanna Verbancic
Obviously that would be discriminating and terribly unjust.
Leigh Richardson
Because Australia was founded upon injustice Suzanna. Jesus wouldn't have discriminated he would have joined the LGBT community.
