The grounds of St Patrick’s Primary School were a splash of team colours for the official opening of Noa’s Flat memorial field on Thursday.

Pupils wore their favourite sports jerseys to celebrate the memory of their schoolmate Noa Jessop, who died a year ago.
Rugby goal posts were installed on the school grounds as a tribute to Noa’s greatest passion, a gift donated by Andrew Constance’s office.
A memorial bench was installed on the edge of the field and painted in the colours of Noa’s favorite team, Melbourne Storm.
Noa’s father Brett Jessop said the whole family appreciated the school’s effort.
“They’ve really helped us over the past 12 months, it lets us know he won’t be forgotten,” he said.
After the ceremony, St Patrick’s pupils played a game of touch footy on the newly opened oval.
“Noa would have loved to see this, all he talked about after school was his rugby games,” Mr Jessop said.
Ten-year-old Noa was tragically killed when he was struck by a vehicle after getting off his school bus near Cobargo.
