It’s been a hard decision, but we are very happy to showcase our winning entries. Several of the categories had multiple entries that were worthy of winning, and it was a very hard to only choose one.
Due to the amount of high quality entries for active/working dog category, we split this category into working and active.
Photo competition organiser Natalie Martin-Remmert thanked the community for enthusiastically getting behind the competition.
We have had an amazing response and I would like to thank each and every one of you for taking the time to submit your entries,” Ms Martin-Remmert said.
“We had no idea that the competition would prove so successful and it just goes to show that we are indeed a very “doggie” shire.”
There are some wonderful photos and the winners have been chosen based on the photo aesthetics, quality of the image supplied, and suitability to the category entered.
“Every one of the dogs entered is a “winner” in their owners’ eyes and some of the stories supplied are fabulous,” she said.
“Thank you to those people who supplied images of their recently departed doggies, it’s a lovely way to keep them alive in our hearts and to share their beauty with other dog lovers.”
Prizes and the winners gallery was proudly sponsored by Pet Barn Mobile Dog Wash Sapphire Coast.
Trophies for the winners are thanks to sponsors Merimbula Jewellers.
