Love my boomerang bag Dörte. It is very comfortable to carry and I always get told how nice it is when I go shopping.

Halal certification
Now all we have to do is convince more companies to end Halal and Kosher Certification and put an end to hidden taxes.

Completely unnecessary religious nonsense imposed on us all.

No one seems to mind that Sanitarium pays no tax in the first place because its a religious organisation. Or that most of the largest multinationals are allowed to pay no tax by the LNP.

Why is this even a thing? Apart from blind bigotry. Suppliers are always having conditions placed upon them by wholesalers whether it is the size of the packaging, the colour of the branding, or any other of a million conditions that are placed on products in some of the ultimate markets. Some of it is govt mandated, some is due to social pressures, some is for cultural reasons by consumers. Halal certification is just another minor matter to add to the list so products from Australia can be sold in countries where it may be required, something the purchaser and wholesaler will decide, not some bigoted lunatic in Australia looking for an excuse for a whinge.
