Police said four males forced entry to the home and seriously assaulted a male in the presence of his family on Sunday, February 12.
It is believed a fifth male kept watch outside the house and a sixth person dropped some of the offenders off near the scene in a white VL Holden Commodore sedan.
This vehicle was either lowered, or had white skirting on the sides, giving the appearance of being lowered.
It is believed that one of the offenders may have inadvertently struck a companion with a bat during the assault, causing an injury to that individual.
As a result of inquiries, on February 13, police arrested a male, then aged 16, at Huskisson.
He was taken to Nowra Police Station and charged with aggravated break and enter and commit serious indictable offence – in company.
He has been granted conditional bail and is next due to appear at a children’s court on August 10.
