Play was focused around the middle, but the centre and flankers from both outfits had a fair bit of movement as play swept from end to end.
The Eagles had some early slip ups to miss goal opportunities, but were busily contesting possession through the middle as Eden regularly launched long-range kicking raids.
Though in the second half, the Eagles began to capitalise on every chance they fought hard to earn and goals quickly began stacking up.
On the left edge, Tarni Evans and Bec Foster paired up to control what passages of play they could, while Hannah Centra and Sam Crowley had a similar partnership on the right flanks.
Centra led the goal scoring for the hosts with four ahead of the three booted by Crowley.
Due to the immense speed and vigorous contest from the Sea Eagles, Eden was unable to fire any scoring kicks in the second half, narrowly missing a couple of opportunities when they got close.
In the senior fixture, the Eagles settled into the rhythm of the game and were able to run out big winners over Eden 28-19-187 to 4-4-28.
The in-form Dean Gartside led the charge up front with 10 goals to his name, while Blake Grant bagged six.
