IRT resident Margaret Littlewood has recently been through the very raw and traumatic experience of being told that she has cancer.
From there she traveled a journey into the unknown world of treatment and tests. She sang the praises of the Cancer Council and their support of her during this time, and it was her suggestion that the IRT Dalmeny retirement village have the Biggest Morning Tea to raise funds for the Cancer Council.
She inspired everyone at the morning tea with the story of her recent experiences as she journeyed the treatment trial for cancer.
She shared a video of her treatment post surgery, promoted the wonders of the Cancer Council and the support given throughout.
