Her exhibition opens at SoArt this Friday, May 5 at 6pm.
Over many years of living part-time in Narooma, Avalyn has spent countless hours drawing, painting, collecting nature’s objects, and photographing, the stunning waterways and landscapes on this part of the South Coast.
“I have wanted to exhibit in Narooma at SoArt for a long time, but seem to be called away for other schedules – exhibiting in Melbourne has been a focus for a while, but I can’t keep away from this gorgeous spot,” Avalyn said.
An international artist, with recent exposure in New York and Paris, Avalyn has been personally invited to exhibit at the Asian Contemporary Art Show in Hong Kong, in September, and will be launching her crowd funding project through Pozible, an online support group, at the opening of her Narooma SoArt show.
“I am offering many rewards for those who pledge a nominal cash amount, starting at $20, including, one on one mentoring via Skype, and small booklets of my work for the $75 pledge,” she said.
This will be the last opportunity to collect Avalyn’s work in the local area. Call 0411 356 687 for any enquiries. Facebook: Avalyn Doyle
