The Pambula Beach kid was one of more than 30 local children and teenagers who spent the day at the skate park celebrating the ‘awesomeness’ of skateboarding.
Bega Valley Shire Council combined with skating educators, Ownlife to run a bunch of ‘All Aboard Skateboard’ sessions at Bermagui, Bega, Tathra, Pambula and Eden this week.
The focus of these free workshops was to introduce local girls and boys to boarding in a safe and supportive environment. Ownlife skateboarding teachers Richard Flude and Rachel Delphin helped more than 100 Bega Valley kids hone their skills at the different workshops.
Kalaru’s Tynan Taylor, 16, attended the workshops in Tathra and Pambula and said they were something fun to do in the holidays.
