The league is hosting an eight team men’s short-format tournament, but has also welcomed five teams for the ladies’ draw as competition continues to grow in the region.
In a debut for the league, the Merimbula Diggers will introduce a ladies team, while Tathra Sea Eaglettes will be out to prove their dominance.
Pambula is entering two men’s teams with the Whalers fielding a side and the local contingents will also be joined by the Southern Cats from Victoria.
The Panthers have taken out the Lightning Round three years running.
Narooma, Bermagui and Merimbula will round out the men’s entries, while Narooma, Pambula and Tathra will flesh out the ladies’ draw.
Teams will play in a quick format round-robin with two smaller modified fields in play at the Tathra Beach Country Club on April 1.
Matches will run from 9am with a final to go ahead about 4pm.
