Office for Environment and Heritage (OEH) and Bega Valley Shire Council staff will be at William Loftus Park in Candelo (where the Candelo Markets are held) from 3pm on Wednesday, March 22.
They will talk with the public about their thoughts on the issue and make sure any concerns are addressed at the public meeting that night from 6pm at the Candelo Town Hall.
Representatives from the NSW Department of Health, OEH and the South East Local Lands Services District Vet will speak at the meeting.
Last year, Batemans Bay dealt with a flying fox problem as unprecedented numbers concentrated in the area, causing numerous blackouts to the power supply over many weeks.
In mid-2016, Eurobodalla Shire Council attempted to move on flying foxes near residential areas using loud noise and lights to disperse the animals.
