The six are new gaming quality laptops the lab will use to allow participants to let their creativity flow.
“The idea is these laptops will fill a niche and allow them to learn what they want to learn,” the lab’s facilitator Monika Ryan said.
“They will help with using design programs like Photoshop, and coding.
“It opens a real scope for learning.”
The computers were sourced from Bega’s Betta Electrical, with the store donating an extra laptop.
“Betta Electrical have been so supportive of us,” Ms Ryan said.
“They have been very helpful.”
Late last year the Bega Valley Shire Library Service won a state award for helping Ms Ryan get the after school workshop off the ground.
