SYO was delighted to be working with Four Winds to bring the beauty of Mozart’s repertoire to the South Coast.
“An opportunity like this, to spend quality time immersing oneself in classical music and being part of a project with true educational value, is simply too good to refuse,” Briger said.
The 34 musicians from the SYO will be playing Mozart’s Clarinet Concerto as well as Symphony No. 29 in the outdoor Sound Shell amphitheatre at Four Winds.
SYO was founded as a single orchestra in 1973 and over 43 years it has grown to become a community of over 450 young musicians, aged six-24.
Gates open at 1pm. Feel free to bring a picnic to enjoy the surrounds of the Four Winds site.
Tickets are $10 for adults while 16 years and under are free.
