The woman accused of killing 26-year-old Marnie-Lee Cave in 2015 will face trial in Bega in October.

Rosemary Priscilla Mackie, who has pleaded not guilty, will face trial on October 9.

Mackie was arrested almost seven weeks after Ms Cave’s body was found by campers under Mogareeka’s Handcocks Bridge on the morning of October 14, 2015.

Ms Cave, who moved to Bega in 2011 from the ACT, allegedly suffered a broken clavicle and skull, and strangulation on the night of her death.

Mackie will next appear in the NSW Supreme Court on April 7.
