There’ll be live music up alleyways and on verandas, street food with a vintage twist, late night shopping with lots of bargains, an art bazaar, sideshow games, a vintage car or two, main street pop-ups and more.
The village will be all dressed up for the Cobargo Folk Festival so you can enjoy all the colour and check out the winner of the best decorated shopfront.
There may be some prizes for the best 1920s/1930s dressed visitors too!
The village is celebrating the world premiere of Dead Man Laughing, the new play by Max Cullen and Warren Fahey, and the arrival of all the visitors for the Cobargo Folk Festival.
Dead Men Laughing is a Festival Fringe event presented in association with the Cobargo Folk Festival and the Yuin Folk Club. It’s an imagined conversation between two of Australia’s most renowned comedians of the early 20th Century - Roy Rene and Lenny Lower.
Jump in your jalopy, throw on your smooth vintage threads and hit the main street boardwalk from 5-8pm on Thursday, February 23.
Cobargo Village Fair is a joint initiative by Cobargo Creators and the Cobargo Tourist and Business Association. Email cobargocreators@gmail.com for all information.
