And why not? Her new band QSP, with Andy Scott (The Sweet) and Don Powell (Slade), are the supports this time around.
“I like what I do and I’m always looking to create new things; I’m not done yet not by a long shot, I think I’m still a viable artist,” Quatro said.
The 66-year-old is nowhere near retirement with a large UK tour set for later this year, more recording on the cards with her new band, she’s in the midst of writing a novel (following the release of her first poetry book) and has her own radio show to host.

“I’ve done a lot of things in my career, I’ve gone far and wide which I’m quite pleased about,” Quatro said.

“I try not to. I think even the bad stuff is supposed to teach you something – a lesson learned and all that,” she said.
Quatro is looking forward to returning to Wollongong to make more lasting memories, like the last tour.
“I went to shake hands at the end of the set, people were smiling with tears coming down their face. That was something, quite humbling,” she said.
