On January 6, 7 and 8, police attached to the Far South Coast command performed an operation targeting traffic offences.
They conducted 457 random breath tests with two people to appear at court for driving with a mid-range prescribed concentration of alcohol.
A number of vehicles were stopped and searched and on four occasions prohibited drugs were located.
There were also 38 infringements issued for various offences. These included Unlicensed Driver, Expired Licence, Unregistered, Use Mobile Phone, Not Display P plates, Consume Alcohol whilst Driving, Cross Unbroken Lines.
