Safety improvements on two Princes Hwy bridges north of Bega will result in a reduced speed limit and lane closures next week.

Work will be carried out on the bridge across Double Creek, about 10km north of Bega, to repair the bridge barrier, drainage system and bridge joints.
Work will also be carried out on the bridge across Sams Creek, about 5km north of Cobargo, and includes patching of the concrete road surface and repairs to the drainage system.
Lane closures will be in place during work hours, which are scheduled between 7am and 5pm from Monday 12 to Friday 16 December, weather permitting.
For the safety of workers and motorists, traffic control and a reduced 40kmh speed limit will also be in place.
