Bega women’s golfers held their annual presentation and lunch at the Bega Country Club on Sunday.

Officials said members enjoyed a lunch before the presentations and wrapped up the day with some fun frivolities.
“The first was the making of our dessert, when Kerry Carter and Monica Cullen had a ‘Ready, Steady,
Decorate’ competition, decorating a pavlova each,” spokeswoman Barbara Ubrihien said with a laugh.
Members voted on the best look and Carter was a close winner, while members also enjoyed some Christmas pudding.
Ubrihien said several golfers were honoured with awards during the presentations, but Wendy Hergenhan starred on the day, picking up a swag of prizes.
Her haul included medal of medals and the division one match-play awards.
She also swept the pool in the Shonah Southwell par rankings, the Lyn Rood weekend stableford tally, the eclectics, chip-ins and putting awards for both Wednesday and weekends.
She also had the division one gross win in the Country Championships.
Other big award winners included Veronica Coman and Janelle Holdsworth, who accepted the four-ball match-play trophy.
Barbara Ubrihien claimed the division two Golf NSW medal, while Robyn Kilkelly claimed division three and Kerry Carter the weekend medal.
Dianne Dedman secured the Shonah Southwell nine-hole par and nine-hole stableford awards, while Coman also scored well in the stableford standings.
Kerry Carter was the Summer plate winner, with Robyn Kilkelly claiming the division two.
Barbara Chambers won the nine-hole summer competition, while Pam Crooks headed up the summer eclectic.
Mabel Mackenzie Brooch winners included Veronica Coman, Colleen Atherton, Robyn Kilkelly and Margaret Atkins.
Coman and Kilkelly also featured in the division two country championship standings. Nett winners were Maria Marr, Grace Galeano, Jean Ubrihien and Margaret Atkins.
In regular play, Wednesday’s stableford winner was Gillian Peterson with 36 from runner-up Veronica Coman on 34.
Monday's 10-hole comp was won by Sue Behl from Lorraine Gregson with play to continue throughout summer. Saturday is a medley ambrose and Wednesday is the Captain's revenge.
