Bermagui has been dethroned from the number one position by the Merimbula one roster, while Tathra one holds third all even on points.
The northern lost their first game of the competition over the weekend to fall back in line after holding dominance for the first six weeks of play.
Meanwhile, the Sea Eagles continued a strong run with their one side, knocking over Tuross Head with just one wicket down.
Tuross won the toss and elected to bat, but were stumped cheaply by the Eagles’ bowling attack.
Christopher Earl produced a solid knock of 42 runs, which formed the backbone of an otherwise mild batting effort.
The Tuross line-up remained stoic to reach the end of their 40 over innings, but posted the figures of 8/102.
Unfortunately four of the eight wickets were ducks.
Bowling honours were shared jointly by Adam Blacka, Pete Bennett, Jack Matthews and Hamish Wilcox, who each secured two wickets.
Blacka returned the best figures, giving up just six runs during his stint with the ball and also taking a catch for the Tathra team.
The reply from the Tathra side was swift and bordered on ruthless, driving home the required runs in just more than 16 overs.
Opener Chris Dwyer was returned to the sheds cheaply, caught out by J Gardner for just five.
However, fellow opener Kel Evans was already on his way on the scoreboard and began building a partnership with Blacka at the crease.
Evans built to 56, while Blacka sat on 36 as the Eagles rounded the target.
Statistically, Tathra sits just middleground on the competition ladder, but the results have been consistent across the board where other clubs have swayed wildly week-to-week.
The loss sends Tuross spiralling to the bottom of the table, while Tathra two advances into ninth.
Unfortunately, the Tathra twos didn’t have a win on the weekend, going down to a reinvigorated Eden batting line-up.
Tathra two went out to bat first and set up a modest target of 113 runs, finishing all-out in the 33rd over.
Michael Hergenhan led the scoring with a good knock of 36 runs, while Gordon Wiegold added 22 to the stack.
A late addition of 17 runs from Morgan McCoy helped make the target defensible.
However, Eden is hitting its straps at the crease with the opening combination of Drew Mudaliar and Patrick Kearney offering up solid scoring.
Eden built to 2/116 in 25 overs to score the win.
Tathra will host Bermagui at Lawrence Park this Saturday from 1pm, while the Tathra two side heads to Bega to play Merimbula two.
