Campbell showed the excited group of youngsters some of the skills it takes to be part of the Australian Sharks water polo team and gave them some hands on training at the Bemboka Pool.
Campbell competed internationally as recently as the Rio Olymipics and the kids said they were excited to learn some of the techniques from the sport, but also meet an Olympian.
The students said the weather was great for the day and was a perfect reason to get in the pool and pick up some new skills.
Officials from the school said the water polo coaching sessions for kids are part of the government’s Sporting Schools Program that Bemboka has taken part in this year.
This year Bemboka students have participated in coaching in disciplines such as tennis, netball, gymnastic, cricket, AFL and now water polo.
