The previous Thursday round saw some strong scoring where Howard Filmer won on a coun-tback from Peter Gibbs after both notched up 44 points.
Thursday the 24th also provided some strong scored where Stan West topped the field on a count-back from Eddie Collins with both compiling 41 points.
November 19’s Saturday draw also boasted excellent scoring where Jack Roberts hit par with the course to score 42 points, while Ned Kelly compiled an impressive 47 to win B grade.
Lee Cross headed up C grade with 43 and balls went out to 37.
It was also the final of the individual match-play where Shaun Jones defeated Peter Newton on the 18th and members congratulated both golfers.
Continuing the theme over the weekend, there was a run of good scores when Shaun Jones continued his form to win A grade on 40 points, while James Moore headed up B grade on 41 points.
Eddie Collins kept his winning ways going with the day’s best of 43 points.
Meanwhile, in ladies play, Gay Ward topped the stableford on Saturday with 35 points from runner-up Jean Ubrihien just one back on 34 after a count-back from Kerry Carter.
Monday’s 10-hold ladies played the front nine and Maria Vine was the winner from Lorraine Gregson, while Di Dedman had the least putts.
Wednesday’s stableford was won by Janelle Holdsworth with a great round of 38 points from runner-up Robyn Kilkelly, who hit 36 and balls went to 34.
The nine-hole competition on Wednesday was won by Sharyn Whiting.
The $10,000 prize in the ball-drop on Sunday with Colleen Kelland, Carol Healey, Lisa Hocking and Barbara Ubrihien sharing in the win.
Saturday and Wednesday are stablefords for the ladies, while Sunday is the presentation lunch.
For the men, Saturday is the December monthly medal and the medal of medals competition, while Sunday is the men’s foursomes championship.
