Steven Morley of Kianga got his first mulloway, also known as a jewfish, on Friday fishing in the Tuross River. He went to his flathead spot and was fishing a 70mm black-and-gold Squidgy soft plastic using his 7ft 2-4kg rod with 6lb braid with 12lb leader and a 1000-series Shimano reel.
