Large Calamari Squid have frequented the Merimbula Fishing Platform. Best results on the higher tides using orange and also green jigs. Large Luderick are expected to be on the bite soon.

Gummy Shark have been on the chew north of Tathra during the full moon. Depths of 15 to 20 fathoms give good results and include Sand and Tiger Flathead. Weather permitting, catches of Morwong and Snapper are likely all along the local reefs from Eden to Bermagui.
Australian Salmon remain patchy on the local beaches and headlands, best reports come from Tura Beach. Tailor and Trevally are about in the Merimbula Top Lake and Pambula Lake, with lots of algae about keeping your line clean can be a problem. Merimbula Lake has returned a few Dusky Flathead best using soft plastics. Bream, Trevalley and large Estuary Perch remain active up-stream in the Bega River and at Wonboyn.
