Merimbula Police are investigating a series of break and enters into several cabins at a caravan park in the Merimbula sector that occurred during the day October 22.
Mobile phones, jewellery and a torch were stolen while the occupants were out at the time. Police are investigating the incidents.
BERMAGUI
Narooma Police are investigating four break and enter incidents that occurred in the Bermagui area during the evening of October 21 and early morning October 22. Two mobile phones and an iPad were stolen from a residential property.
Two mountain bikes were stolen from another property that were kept in a locked shed. A motorcycle and helmet were also stolen and later recovered a short distance away.
A cafe and takeway shop in Bunga Street were also targeted with ice creams and cash stolen. Police will be conducting forensic examinations.
CANDELO
About 7.30pm on October 21, 2016, police attended Myrtle Mountain lookout. A stolen Husqvarna ride on mower was located and recovered. The mower had been reported stolen from a Mogilla Road, Candelo in late August. The vehicle has been reunited with the owner.
BEGA
At 12.50am Saturday, October 22, a 62 year old driver was stopped while travelling north on the Princes Highway, North Bega for a random breath test.
The driver returned a positive road side reading for alcohol. He was arrested and conveyed to Bega Police Station for the purpose of a breath analysis.
He was subsequently charged with Mid range PCA and his licence was confiscated. He was issued a Court Attendance Notice for Bega Local Court on November 15.
MORUYA
Two motor vehicles that had been stolen from the Moruya area have been recovered by police on Thursday afternoon, October 20. The vehicles, a Hyundai Excel and Nissan Pulsar were located in Wamban Road. Police will conduct forensic tests on the vehicles.
