Police will prepare a report for the Coroner concerning the death of a man in a unit fire on the Far South Coast overnight.

Emergency services were called to unit on Lamont Street, Bermagui, about 9.40pm on Tuesday, October 4, following reports of a fire.
NSW Rural Fire Service attended and extinguished the blaze.
A 54-year-old man was treated by NSW Ambulance Paramedics, but died at the scene.
Two other residents escaped the building uninjured.
Police from Far South Coast Local Area Command attended and established a crime scene at the location.
The fire is not believed to be suspicious at this stage.
