Batten drives home lowest score

A small field of 45 golfers competed in a Stableford at Bermagui on Saturday. The A Grade winner was Nathan Batten with an outstanding score of 46 points. Playing off scratch, Nathan hit 10 under par, which included eagles on the 16th and 18th. The score of 62 was recognised as the lowest ever hit at the Bermagui course.  Roy Matthews was runner-up with a score of 36 points. Michael Derbyshire (handicap 21) took first place in B Grade with 35 points, just one point ahead of Rod Ashton, playing off 17.
