The one-day Making Beats Ableton workshop will give participants an introduction to using Ableton Live and the Push controller to make digital music.
Ableton Live is a software tool for composing, recording, arranging and mixing music and participants must be over 14-years old.
Programs and Partnerships Officer, Scott Baker said the library’s school holiday program caters to a range of ages from pre-schoolers right through to older teenagers.
“We’ve mixed it up with some Spring-themed craft activities using recycled and found materials to make wind chimes, bird feeders and kaleidoscopes combined with some techno digital music workshops and a Biting Writing workshop that looks at narratives and forming a plot,” Mr Baker said.
Normal Storytime and Rhyme Time sessions will continue through the holidays and do not require bookings.
