Match ups were decided in the premier round last week and officials said it was now a matter of seeing if the competition front-runners could hold their edge.
Elders will lead the charge in the womens competition after finishing the season several points clear of their rivals.
The team then cleared a direct path to the grand final, trumping United 3-0 to secure a berth.
However, United fought back last week defeating Grand 2-0 to score a rematch with the two teams to battle out a fantastic round of hockey.
Elders will also lead from the front in the B grade game after a strong showing throughout the season as well as heading in to the C grade grand final.
They will meet Candelo, who shut down Grand Hotel’s hopes 2-0 last week.
Meanwhile, in the men’s competition Pambula has gone the long way around to score a shot at taking down the Magpies.
The Magpies defeated Grand in a penalty shootout two weeks ago, but Pambula had to overcome the Candelo men before edging Grand 2-0.
The C grade game will see Grand going through for a final hitout after they advanced over Tathra on for and against.
“The game was nil-all so Grand went through as they had the highest score at the end of the season,” publicity officer Nikki Smith said.
C grade is set to run from 9.30am on Saturday with Elders to play the Grand Stars.
All teams from the D grade competition will feature in exhibition play from 11-11.30am.
At 11.45 the B grade fixture will take to the park with Elders to face up against the Candelo B roster.
Presentations for the D, C and B grades including best and fairest and player of the grand final awards will be held at 1pm at the ground.
There will be trophies for the winners and runners-up.
At 1.30pm the combined A grade women’s game will take centre stage as Elders looks to consolidate their strong season with a second premiership on the trot.
And finishing off the draw is the men’s game at 3pm with the Magpies to face the Pambula men in a grand final rematch.
Pambula scored the premiership last year and the Magpies will be out to reverse the result.
Presentation of the senior grades will be held at the Grand Hotel at 6:30pm on Saturday after the grand final.
Platters of nibbles will be provided in a similar format to last year’s presentations and the club will have music on the night.
Friday is your last chance to grab tickets with sales closing at the end of business on Friday. Tickets are $10 each and available at Elders Bega.
