“Use It or Lose It” is directed by staff member Craig Beale, features original music sung by Denise Hossack, and stars Tulgeen participants Jacinta Robinson, Cornelius Moon, Mitchell Porteous, Colleen Barrett, Wayne Ramus, Graham Henkel, Bradley Gordon and Taylor Kearney.
Many other staff and clients also contributed to the creative and technical processes of the film.
The film is a showcase of the talents of both staff and participants. Above all, it celebrates the joy and delight of diversity and life.
In its eighth consecutive year, the Focus on Ability Short Film Festival is run by NOVA Employment. The competition is aimed at raising awareness of the abilities of people with a disability. With over $100,000 worth of cash and prizes to be won this is a highly contested competition.
Films will be both judged by a professional judging panel and put through an online voting process, with separate prizes for each category.
Tulgeen is encouraging the entire Bega community to behind it and vote for Use It or Lose It.
Voting is only open until midnight Monday, August 8.
